FALL BEAUTY EDIT: ESSENTIALS FOR THE CRISPER WEATHER AHEAD
As you know, we’re all about minimalism. And that is true of our beauty routine too. We’re sticking to our favorites, but adding a few new tricks.

“Less is More. Especially when it comes to beauty. Being in lockdown has allowed me to give my skin a break. Zero make up, and a minimal yet thorough beauty routine. With no facials, and only a handful of products my skin looks better than ever.
Also less make up means less waste. I have not had to use any make up remover wipes in over six months!”
The products we already use:
We have a handful of products that we use everyday, twice a day, and do not stray too far from. Some include French pharmacy faves (Bioderma and Embryolisse), while others are natural and green (RMS and Costa Brazil). Listed below are JRR’s favorites.
Bioderma Sensibo H2O - Great for removing any leftover makeup or grime
Embryolisse Cream - A perfect “not too heavy, not too light” daily cream
RMS Un cover up - For those tired under eyes, or an unwelcome spot
Milk Cheek and Lip Tint - On the cheeks or lips, this brings warmth to the face.
Costa Brazil Oil - Light and natural body and face oil.
Royal Fern Serum and Cream - Doctor formulated products that target all of your skin’s problems.
Dr. Sturm Enzyme cleanser - For a gentle yet thorough cleanse.
Biologique P50 - A classic exfoliant and toner we’ve been using for years and would recommend to anyone.
Noble Pancea - We love all the Noble Pancea products, but adore the serums and eye cream.
The new products we are adding into our routine:
While we stick to what we both like and know, there are so many new sustainable and natural beauty products entering the market everyday. Here are a few that we are looking at trying.
Westman Atelier Mascara and Highlighter - Makeup artist Gucci Westman’s products look sophisticated and are made of natural ingredients.
Victoria Beckham Eyeliner- The designer just added a makeup line to her belt and with its “clean” seal of approval, we’re intrigued.
May Lindstrom Mist- While this isn’t a necessity, it is nice to have a natural mist to set your makeup or refresh your face throughout the day.
Package free soaps and shampoos- We’ve used bar soap before but bar shampoo is new to us. But with reduced packaging, we are on board!
